Pharmacy and Medical Device/Supply Provision

Clinical trials require a wide range of materials beyond the investigational product itself. Ethic-CRO Medical Research manages the procurement, storage and delivery of these materials to sites in line with the protocol and applicable regulations.

Pharmacy and medical device/supply provision

Scope

  • Provision of comparator products used in the trial
  • Supply of auxiliary medicinal products and prescription/non-prescription medicines
  • Provision of laboratory consumables and sample collection and storage kits
  • Procurement and site installation of medical devices required by the protocol
  • Site-level requirement planning and stock tracking

Storage and distribution conditions

Cold chain conditions are maintained for temperature-sensitive products, with temperature records kept throughout transport and storage. Expiry dates are tracked and sites are notified in advance of products approaching expiry.

Records and traceability

Receipt and dispatch records are kept for all supplied products, accountability is performed at site level, and return or destruction processes at the end of the trial are documented. The process is conducted within the framework of Good Clinical Practice and applicable regulations.
